Clearly I am not very good at updating this thing. I wish I was better at it. With the numerous blogs that I read, I would love to have an archive of postings of my own to go back and remember points in my life.
Chris and I have been very busy since this past December. We have moved into a new place. Our new home is Chris' cousins townhouse in the foothills of Tucson. Its quite a cute little place, however, since Chris' cousin owns the place we aren't able to make it our own. All of her furniture, art work, etc. are still here. We are saving a large amount of money on rent though! This gives us an opportunity to save a significant amount of money towards our wedding and future home.
Speaking of wedding...The planning is coming right along. My dress has been purchased and I LOVE it! We have our reception and ceremony sites set. Our photographer will be the very talented Che Wilson. Our cake tasting is done. I may be biased, but Cakes by Judy makes some of the best wedding cake I have ever had. She uses a delicious French buttercream frosting that is not too sweet and the cake is just perfect and moist. Save the Dates have gone out for my side of the wedding. Chris is working on his, right Chris?! ;) I went with Mom, Steph, and Cassi to choose bridesmaids dresses about a month ago. Bridesmaids dresses will be a dark purple. They are quite gorgeous. Mom has been a tremendous help in preparing for the wedding. She has most of our centerpieces done. There is still quite a bit left to do, but it should not be a problem. We are doing well.
Another fun and exciting event in our life was my sinus surgery that I had on March 29th. UGH!! That's what I have to say about that. It was horrible. One of the most painful experiences of my life. I have yet to decide whether or not it was worth it. I am still getting horrible nose bleeds 2 weeks later. Tomorrow I will go back to work after being off for two weeks to recuperate. I am looking forward to going back.
Well, I must cut my post short. We are off to Kon Tiki's Relight the Night.
